FLEXPRINT IS AWARDED AS ONE OF ARIZONA’S MOST ADMIRED COMPANIES

FlexPrint Inc. Named One of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies
Arizona Business Magazine, BestCompaniesAZ to recognize winners at Sept. 7 reception

TEMPE, Arizona – July, 2011.   FlexPrint Inc., (www.flexprintinc.com), the leading national provider of document management and managed print solutions, is proud to announce it’s been named one of Arizona’s Most Admired Companies (MAC) by Arizona Business Magazine and BestCompaniesAZ. In its second year, the MAC award recognizes the contributions and impact local companies bring to the state. The award is based on employee, customer and community opinions.

“We are honored to be recognized for this prestigious award,” said Frank Gaspari, CEO and Founder of FlexPrint. “It’s a great compliment for the company and a true reflection of the passionate people at FlexPrint who are proud of their work and care about their community.”

As part of the award, FlexPrint will be recognized at an awards reception on Sept. 7 and in a special editorial report in the September/October issue of Arizona Business Magazine. As a winner, FlexPrint is also considered for the Spotlight Awards in the categories of Workplace Culture, Leadership, Social Responsibility and Customer Excellence. Winners of the Spotlight Awards will be announced at the September event.

Categories evaluated for the MAC award included workplace culture (as voted by employees), leadership experience, corporate and social responsibility and customer opinion (as assessed by customers). Winners were chosen by a selection committee comprised of the Arizona Business Magazine editorial team and professionals from a wide range of industries.

In addition to the MAC honor, FlexPrint was recently recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the nation by Inc. Magazine. Since its start in 2005, FlexPrint has experienced a 700 percent growth year-over-year. The company has also been named by the Phoenix Business Journal three years in a row as one the Best Places to Work and was recognized earlier this year by imageSource Magazine for Outstanding MPS Program.

“I continue to attribute the success of this company to our proven business model, our depth of employee experience in the field and our absolute commitment to exceeding customers’ expectations,” Gaspari said.

“Less than 50% of American adults fail to get the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity per day, and 24% are not physically active at all.” – America on the Move

We are all aware of the growing trends and concerns involved with Americans leading a healthier life. But as great as it may be to fulfill all of our health and fitness goals, most of us could agree we just don’t have the time to commit to it. In fact, in a study recently commissioned by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association it was found, “Most people [...] say that they would like to exercise more, but fully 70 percent believe they lack the time necessary.”

Most of us spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at our job. That’s about 24% of our week. Another 33% is spent sleeping. Already 57% of our week is gone. But wait, what about time spent commuting, doing chores, taking care of our kids, just relaxing, etc.? It leaves us wondering how anyone has the time to stay fit.

For the time-strapped folk, a new fitness trend is exercising in the workplace. Even some of the employees here at FlexPrint are joining in. They recommend taking a 15 minute break every couple hours to walk around the building, getting a walking buddy for a daily lunch walk and even using an exercise ball to sit on for good posture and core training instead of an office chair.

When exercising in the office, it’s important to use your breaks effectively. As tempting as it may be to grab a cup of coffee (maybe a doughnut) and sit back down at your desk to browse the internet, being disciplined about your routine is important. Like most fitness/training activities, it’s not always going to be easy.

One more thing. In a recent study of 200 employees in varying industries, British researchers found, “6 out of 10 workers said their time management skills, mental performance and ability to meet deadlines improved on days when they exercised. The amount of the overall performance boost was about 15 percent.”

Be healthy, happy and more productive with your new active “at work” lifestyle.

Frank Gaspari: One of the Most Influential People In The Imaging Industry

Our very own fearless leader and CEO, Frank Gaspari, was recently honored as one of the 40 most influential people in the industry by The Week In Imaging!! Candidates had to be nominated on theweekinimaging.com and then were judged based on comments made in response to their nominations. “These are the thought leaders, the movers and shakers, and those who have made a difference in their organizations or in the industry and continue to make a difference today.” – Scott Cullen, publisher and editor

We’re all extremely proud to have Frank as our CEO and can’t wait to see what future successes he will lead us toward and achieve.  Here is what The Week In Imaging said about Frank.

Frank Gaspari, CEO, FlexPrint – Here’s a successful entrepreneur who after running successful copier dealerships had a vision and saw a need for a company that would become a national provider for document management and managed print solutions. It’s not easy to break the mold and reinvent oneself, but Gaspari did just that and did it well. Since its founding in 2005, FlexPrint has enjoyed a 700 percent year-over-year growth rate and recognition by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation. In addition to its home base in Phoenix, FlexPrint has offices in Los Angeles and Chicago, and supports hundreds of customers in 45 markets across the country. Whatever you do, don’t put FlexPrint in a managed print services box. Although Gaspari started FlexPrint as a managed print services company, he will quickly and unequivocally tell you that the company does a whole lot more than managed print services. That’s the kind of attitude that has kept the company growing at a rapid pace and in a position to shift with whatever industry shifts come its way.

Seeking Service-Oriented Folks to Work at Flexprint, and a Few Tips on Customer Communications

FlexPrint, and other companies in the managed print services arena, are growing. In fact, our company has experienced 700% year over year growth, and we’re slated to persist at this same pace.

As the number of clients who recognize the value of our services grows, we’re looking to add talent to our team, whether your strengths lie in sales, administrative work, technical support, or being a dispatcher.

We believe one of our main competitive advantages is our staff-wide dedication to outstanding customer service. A Client Advisory Board was even established on the basis that in-depth, ongoing consumer insights allow us to provide more cost-effective, and ultimately more valuable, services to our customers.

A sincere desire to partner with clients, rather than manage them, is the foundation for every successful FlexPrint employee. Beyond this innate quality, skill-building is encouraged to take partnerships to the next level.

One manager on the Dispatch team writes: “Mastering communication skills is extremely important, not only in person, but over the phone. The person on the other end can hear if you’re having a bad day.”

To understand the level of thoughtfulness that FlexPrint seeks in employees, consider these easy-to-remember tips the Dispatch manager shares from a recent training session on remote communications:

MASTERING COMMUNICATION SKILLS: S.O.F.T.E.N.

“Communication is not what you say: it’s what they heard and think you said.”

FLEXPRINT, INC. RECEIVES THE 2011 “OUTSTANDING MPS PROGRAM” PERFECT IMAGE AWARD

TEMPE, Arizona – April 5, 2011.   FlexPrint Inc., (www.flexprintinc.com), the leading national provider of document management and managed print solutions, was recently awarded imageSource Magazine’s 2011 Perfect Image Awardfor “Outstanding MPS Program.”  Corey Rivard, FlexPrint’s Vice President of Sales Operations, accepted the award last week at the 2011 ITEX National Expo and Conference in Washington, D.C.

The Perfect Image Award winners are selected by the imageSource/ITEX Advisory Council whose members include industry consultants, dealers, vendors, and Imaging Network/Questex Media Group executives.   Only eight dealerships are recognized nationally each year, each for a different category.  ”The fact is there are multiple dealers doing good business today, and those that are recognized as being outstanding in creating valuable programs, processes and services, is something to be highly acknowledged,” said Sand Sinclair, imageSource Editor and ITEX Conference Director.  Factors such as a dealership’s business model and performance are part of the criteria judged when choosing Perfect Image winners.

“We are pleased to be singled out by our peers for the success of our MPS program,” said Frank Gaspari, FlexPrint CEO.  ”Our complete focus at FlexPrint is to exceed our customers’ expectations and deliver ongoing managed solutions which deliver measurable results for our clients. This recognition further validates the impact our solutions are having across the nation.”

FlexPrint’s MPS programs are tailored to each customer’s specific business requirements and allow people, processes and technologies to work together seamlessly.  The program includes a comprehensive cost-per-print approach and includes maintenance, supplies, and quarterly updates on printer usage and efficiency all in one simple package.  ”We work very closely with our clients to ensure we exceed their expectations,” noted Gaspari. ”We never take a cookie-cutter approach.  I think what sets FlexPrint apart from our competitors is that we build our Solutions based entirely on our customer’s needs.  Our MPS programs are designed to grow with the customer and evolve with their changing business needs.”

This is not the first time FlexPrint has been singled out for its success.  Last year FlexPrint was ranked as one of the top 500 fastest growing companies in the nation by Inc. Magazine.  ”We have experienced 703 percent growth over the past three years,” says Gaspari.  ”I credit this success to the company-wide passion to deliver Exceptional Customer Service and to continually find new ways to streamline our customers’ print infrastructures and eliminate discretionary printing and spending.”
